Celebrate Love Maine Trails Month with us on Saturday, June 10, along the East Branch of the Penobscot River!
Do you love walking, biking, and skiing along our trails? Did you know they needed care and maintenance? We will be spring cleaning the trail from winter deadfall, swamping, and lopping. Please consider joining us.
We will meet at 9AM at the Grindstone Picnic Area on ME-11, along the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Scenic ByWay. We will work until noonish, but we won't stop you if you are on a roll!
Please wear long pants, long sleeved shirt, hat, gloves, and sturdy shoes, and bring a personal water bottle. Snacks and beverages, bug dope, loppers, and extra head nets will be provided by Elliotsville Foundation Inc.
Sponsored by the Katahdin Tourism Partnership and Penobscot River Trails.
Please RSVP by email or text (207) 852-1291 if you can make it. Children 8 and older dressed appropriately are very welcome if accompanied by an adult.
