Trailblaze Challenge is a 23.4-mile hike in September where participants can tackle the terrain of the western mountains—all in one amazing day! This is a hike, not a race, and caters to all levels from novice to advanced outdoor enthusiasts. Group training hikes are available across the state.
As well as being an extraordinary physical test, the real challenge is to raise much-needed funds to grant the wishes of children in Maine with critical illnesses. Hikers are asked to raise $2,500. Now more than ever, hope is essential. Make-A-Wish is committed to ensuring that no eligible child waits to experience the hope and joy that a wish brings.
The first step if you are interested in the 2024 Trailblaze Challenge is to attend an Info Session via Zoom. To get a recording of this Info Session, please reach out to Starsha Schiller by email. Limited spots available, reach out today!
