The nationally acclaimed Wild and Scenic Film Festival is coming to Ellsworth for an open-air event at Knowlton Park in Ellsworth. The festival is hosted by several area land trusts and environmental organizations, along with WERU, and is free of charge.
Community members are invited to come to Knowlton Park 7pm-8pm to meet many of the local organizations doing work in their region, pick up trail maps, and learn more about events happening all over Downeast Maine. Food trucks will be on hand as well for those wanting to enjoy a bite to eat.
The show begins at sunset and will run for approximately 1hr 45m, with seating on the auditorium lawn, and will feature several films of varying length. We strongly encourage folks to bring a blanket or lawn chair for a more comfortable experience. This event is family friendly and open to the public.
