Experience the sights and sounds of the forest at night during one of our Full Moon Hikes at Hatchery Brook Preserve. Night hiking is a unique experience everyone should experience. This hike will give plenty of opportunities to view the Village of Rangeley at night, so bring your camera!
The hike is about 2 miles in length and starts at 9PM at the trailhead. Hikers should dress appropriately and wear trail shoes or boots. Please bring a flashlight in case of cloudy conditions (no headlamps please). Some parts of the trail have roots, uneven terrain and sections of bog-bridging. Participants should be in good health with no walking or night vision difficulties.
The hike will be led by Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust staff. Registration is not required but requested. Register by calling (207) 864-7311, ask for Amanda or leave a message.
