In addition to its inviting sandy beach, Bloomfield Park has a short hiking trail that is very flat and easy to walk, with nice views of Blunt's Pond and mature pine trees.
An informative kiosk near the trailhead shares the natural history and ecology of Blunt's Pond as well as the history of Bloomfield Park. Two picnic tables and the privy make this a fine spot to spend a few hours.

Town of LamoineFrom coastal US-1 North heading out of Ellsworth, turn right on Douglas Highway/ME-184. Bear left staying on ME-184, when it becomes Lamoine Beach Road. From this turn, travel 2.2 miles and then turn left onto Asa's Lane. Just past Lamoine Redemption on the right, turn left onto Bloomfield Park Road and bear right at the park sign to reach the parking area and beach.
