Description

This trail systems includes five individual trails, from which various routes can be created.

The Brimstone Hill Trail begins with a short, hilly loop followed by a leg out to Kelsey Brook. The trail connects to the Jackman and Forest Ridge Trails, and is about 0.75 miles one-way.

The Kelsey Brook Trail traverses the back of a Mitchell Ledge Farm field, then follows Kelsey Brook for about one mile, crossing the brook midway then passing another farm field. At 1.5 miles, the trail crosses the brook again to reach the Jackman Trail. The trail circles a working farm field; please keep your distance from livestock. Pets are not allowed on the Kelsey Brook Trail.

The Mitchell Ledge Trail is a 0.7-mile loop off of the Kelsey Brook Trail. The trail circles a working farm field; please keep your distance from livestock. Pets are not allowed on the Mitchell Ledge Trail.

There are many options for enjoying the Antoinette Jackman Trail. From the trailhead at the end of Litchfield road, and intersection to the left 0.2 miles from the trail connects to the Kelsey Brook Trail. To the right the Antoinette Jackman Trail continues, connecting to the Brimstone Trail (to the left) at the next junction. To the right, the Antoinette Jackman trail continues another  0.7 miles to a beaver pond at the head of the Little River, and a connection to Brunswick Topsham Land Trust's Chase Reserve trails.

The blue-blazed Forest Ridge Trail connects the Jackman and Brimstone Trails, allowing for a loop to be made.
