This trail loops around on the mainland portion of a 38 acre parcel of upland, wetlands, and two islands. The trail follows a well established forest path and includes benches overlooking Pushaw Lake and wetlands as well as excellent bird-watching (species seen include eagles, loons, and great blue herons). There are also glacial erratic boulders and a geocache that add interest to the trail. Though a relatively easy trail, there are some steep pitches on the access trail and in a few places along the loop itself.
Dogs need to be under control of their owners. Please observe the carry-in, carry-out policy.
