Description

The Hosmer Brook Trail is a short snowshoeing trail maintained by Coastal Mountains Land Trust (CMLT), that can also be hiked in the warmer months. The trail leads part way up the Snow Bowl, off to the side of the alpine skiing trails through the woods. The trail passes by a couple small brooks. While the trail is fairly short, it is close to other trails maintained by CMLT and the Camden Snow Bowl. There are also a variety of alpine, Nordic, and fat biking trails here that are a part of the Camden Snow Bowl, which offers a wide variety of winter adventure options.

Other Information

  • Pets are only allowed (on a leash) while hiking or snowshoeing on the Hosmer Brook Trail.
  • No mountain bikes on this trail, although other trails from the Camden Snow Bowl allow bikes.
  • Snowshoers need a valid season pass or day ticket to use alpine area trails, other than the approach to the Hosmer Brook Trail and the Kuller Trail. During normal Snow Bowl operating hours the Rental Shop has snowshoes for rent.
