The three quarter-mile trail wends through the woods behind the school. Eleven fitness stations are located along the trail, with both equipment and signage with instructions at each station. Stations include push-ups, sit-ups and body curls, a horizontal loop ladder, and more.
For those less inclined to use the fitness stations, the trail also provides a pleasant and easy walk on a mostly flat surface of gravel, dirt, and pineneedles, with just two spots where there is a small grade. The even surface and wide trail make it suitable for young children, all-terrain strollers, and possibly for some with mobility challenges.
