Trundy Point represents some of the best undeveloped rocky headland habitat for which the Cape Elizabeth landscape is known. The short trail loops from the beach over bluffs to a rocky promontory jutting into the ocean. It provides expansive views of Casco Bay, including the opportunity to view five lighthouses from atop this rock outcrop. A prime spot for birding, the wave-battered rocks offer the chance to see uncommon and beautiful seabirds such as guillemots, razorbills, long-tailed ducks, and harlequin ducks. The sheltered pocket beach is ideally situated for picnicking and swimming.

Head south on ME-77 to Old Ocean House Road. It is 4.4 miles down from the intersection of Broadway and ME-77 in South Portland. Take a left on Old Ocean House Road, and stay on on Old Ocean House Road only 0.3 miles before turning right on Trundy Road. Continue straight for just under 1 mile as Trundy Road turns into Reef Round and bends around to the right before reaching the shore.
From the South / US-1
From US-1 in Scarborough, head south on ME-207 (Black Point Road). Go 2.9 miles and turn left on ME-77. Drive 5.8 miles then turn right on Old Ocean House Road, and stay on on Old Ocean House Road only 0.3 miles before turning right on Trundy Road. Continue straight for just under 1 mile as Trundy Road turns into Reef Round and bends around to the right before reaching the shore.
Access to the trail is available off Reef Road in the Shore Acres neighborhood. Limited parking is allowed on Reef Road, and cars must not block driveways, mailboxes, or park on blind corners.
