Norumbega Green Rentals offers a great way to dial back and take a break from the hustle and bustle of life. The double yurts, called Peace and Quiet, make the perfect base camp for hiking or, if you simply want to read in the hammock all day long, you can do that, too. Either way, you'll be in a place of calm. The yurts include a bedroom yurt with 4 double futons and a fully equipped kitchen yurt.
Located just outside of historic New Gloucester Village, there is plenty to experience at a relaxed, rural pace. Norumbega Farm has hiking, fishing, birding and geocaching all nearby. The Big Falls Preserve at the end of Woodman Road features a scenic waterfall at the mouth of a small wading pool. The Norumbega Chapel Trail, behind the yurts, connects to the Big Falls Preserve Trail.
Around the corner from the yurts is Norumbega Cidery where you can enjoy tastings of classic and specialty blends of cider every Saturday afternoon from June through October.
