Ron’s Loop (1.0-mile loop, easy): A self-guided trail brochure takes visitors on a loop trail through the lower portion of the property. Features include two streams that feed into Back Pond, a large relatively wet area at the top of the trail where breeding birds are active, hemlock groves, and boulders and moraines from the last ice age. Surveys of birds, mammals, and plants are available at the kiosk.
The Mountain Trail (1.7-mile round trip, moderate): The Mountain Trail promises hikers a spectacular view of the Kezar River Valley, the Five Kezar Ponds, and the White Mountains. This 2.6 mile trail is of moderate difficulty with short sections of steep terrain. Families should exercise care of children at the summit ledges. Currently the trailhead has limited parking.
Orange Trail (0.9-mile connector trail, moderate): The Orange Trail connects Ron's Loop with the Mountain Trail, allowing hikers to extend their visit to the Back Pond Reserve.
Tom's Path (0.5-mile on way, easy): A spur trail off the Mountain Trail, traveling along the ridgeline to several view points overlooking Middle Pond.

From the intersection in North Waterford of ME-118 and ME-35, travel south on ME-35 a short distance and turn right onto Five Kezars Road (immediately opposite Melby’s Store). Travel approximately 1.5 miles and turn right onto the Kezar Ridge Road which is last road on the right before the road turns to dirt. The Mountain Trail has a small parking area about 0.8 miles down on the right. Parking for Ron’s Loop is on the right 0.25 miles after the parking area for The Mountain Trail. Each is marked with a Greater Lovell Land Trust sign.
