This network of easy to moderate trails in Holden loop through woodlands with interpretive panels highlighting animals and plants. Benches along the network can be used to sit and enjoy the tranquility of the woods but also function to provide outdoor classroom space for the nearby school. The Washburn trail is provides a stone crushed path accessible to users of all physical ability levels while the other trails leading back into the woods provide more moderate terrain with exposed roots and natural, sometimes wet natural surface trails.
There is also a trail connection to the adjacent Red Barn Campground.
