The Hutchinson Pond Trail travels through woodland and fields, providing a varied hiking experience with multiple wild habitats. Upon reaching the pond, many visitors paddle to explore the shoreline and aquatic wildlife.
The Hutchinson Pond Conservation Area features 29 acres of vernal pools and wetlands and 52 acres of mixed woodland and fields. These 81 acres complement 1,600 feet of undeveloped shoreline and 2,765 feet of stream frontage. Hutchinson Pond provides a habitat to bald eagles, loons, ducks, osprey, warm water fish, and beavers.
