Welcome to Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust’s first mountain bike trails. These trails are open for mixed uses including mountain biking, hiking, running, snowshoeing, and skiing.
Over three and a half miles of trails wind through mixed pine forests. The Yellow and Blue Trails can be accessed from numerous points from the Woods Road, allowing for a number of trail loop combinations that make for an exciting bike ride.
Please yield to other trail users appropriately, and share respectfully - be nice, say hi!
A printable trail map is available for download from the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust.
Neptune Woods is located at Brunswick Landing, formerly part of the Brunswick Naval Air Station. The Air Station was decommissioned in 2011. Some land was given to the Town of Brunswick for conservation, but many other properties, though reserved for recreation, were not specifically conserved for that purpose. Neptune Woods is the first parcel on Brunswick Landing to be conserved and actively developed for recreation.
In 2018, the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority generously donated this land to BTLT, and a group of volunteers with the Six Rivers chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association created, built, and now help to maintain, the trails at Neptune Woods. Please support and thank these valuable community groups!
