Description

The main trail is the White Trail which makes a loop of approximately 1 mile starting from the parking lot. From the main trail there are a variety of shortcuts and smaller loops. The White trail is a moderate walk down to the Sheepscot River and back up through mixed deciduous forest. The Green Trail provides a shortcut from the uplands down to the River passing a scenic little vernal pool and tree identification signs (0.3 miles to the stream). There are interpretive signs along the trails, corresponding with information found in the trail brochure available at the kiosk or at the Midcoast Conservancy website.

I walked this and Patricktown Trail and while both are relatively short, it was a fun experience I was able to take my niece on. I'll probably come back sometime in winter for some shots of the river.
