The 1.3-mile Beaver Pond Loop Trail begins at the parking area on Nickerson Hill Road, follows the eastern side of the beaver pond and stream, and then circles back to the parking area.
To the south, a second 1.3 mile loop travels through pine-hemlock forest and hardwood forests. A snowmobile trail bisects both of these loops, and they may be wet and difficult to pass on during the spring and late fall.

From ME-41/ME-17 in Readfield, turn onto Nickerson Hill Road. Travel for 0.6 miles, then turn left (south) into the small parking area at the trailhead.
