This 70-acre property has 2 miles of trail looping through both fields and forest. The Stonewall Trail, at the northwest corner of Sayles Woods, connects to Bliss Woods. These trails are part of the South Freeport Trail system.
The trail system winds its way around a typical farm field. The surface is mostly grass with some muddy areas when wet. The typical slope is 2% with a short section of a 10% slope. After crossing the bridge into the second field, a significant cross slope may make it harder for people who use wheelchairs or are unstable when walking. The trails are very wide throughout the field system, up to 10 feet in places. Parking is roadside.
Dogs must be kept on a leash within 500 feet of the road.
