Descending from the parking lot, the trail winds among tall conifer trees and loops around following the nearby brook most of the way. The trail provides several scenic overlooks of the brook as well as access to a gravel bar that is sometimes submerged during high water. There are efforts underway by the school to add interpretive signs about the ecology of the trail.

Lake Region School DistrictThe entrance to the school is at the intersection of ME 11 and ME 114 in Sebago. The parking lot is immediately to the left. The trail leaves from a sign and opening in the fence behind the parking lot.
