The Blue Trail is a easy to moderate loop trail leaving the parking lot, and crossing an unnamed stream before splitting. The trail meanders to the north along the base of the hill before gradually working it’s way towards the high point. There are small seeps and seasonal wetlands down low, open oak-pine forests along the rocky ridge and uplands. The trail works it’s way south and back to lower points, where the Red Spur Trail takes a detour to the Pond. After viewing the pond and wetlands habitat, hikers can return to the Blue Trail and follow the lower leg to the north again back to the parking area.
