Formed as a result of previous timber harvesting that took place on the property before it was conserved, the Woods Road Trail is an out and back trail approximately 0.5 miles in length. It begins at the parking area on Middlesex Road and meanders through the upland forest, past an active vernal pool, leading to a mature hemlock stand overlooking the Cathance River. The first section of the trail is grassy and passes through what was formerly a log yard that is now revegetated, and then turns into a predominantly hardened dirt surface, with an approximately 50~foot section of a crushed gravel pathway. As the trail approaches the Cathance River there is another grassy secion. The final 300 feet of the trail features a moderately steep slope leading to a mature hemlock stand overlooking the Cathance River.
The Ravine Trail is approximately 0.4 miles long. It creates a loop trail with the Woods Road, intersecting with the Woods Road approximately 600 feet from the parking area where it follows and crosses an old stonewall overlooking an open meadow. The trail continues along the eastern side of the property as a single-file trail with a primarily dirt surface that can be uneven. The trail passes along a small stream that flows into the Cathance River, and features a small crossing as well as a section of bog bridging. The majority of this trail is somewhat uneven with roots and/or rocks with a few seasonally grassy areas. It intersects again with the Woods Road where the Woods Road slopes down towards the hemlock stand overlooking the Cathance River.
