This short trail travels about a half-mile through coniferous-deciduous forest down a gentle slope to the shore of Cobbossee Stream. There is a picnic table at the trail's end from which to enjoy the views of the stream.
There are two cabins available for rent on this property. The cabins are not open to the general public without reservation. More information an be found on Kennebec Land Trust's Eco-Cabins page. Please respect the privacy of renters, neighbors, and be aware of private property.

From I-95, take exit 102 towards ME-126/ME-9 W. From I-295, take exit 51. Head west for 2.7 miles on ME-126/ME-9, then turn right onto Spears Corner Road. Go 1.6 miles and turn left on High Street. After a mile, which turns into the Hallowell Litchfield Road after a mile. Go another 0.8 miles to Wakefield Lane on the right. The day-use parking lot is a few hundred feet up on the right at the end of this access road, by a gate.
The parking lot fits approximately 3 cars. Do not park in front of the nearby private residence or the gate.
