AMC grooms 90 miles of interconnected ski trails around and linking their wilderness lodges. The trails are open to the public. From Medawisla in the north, the lodge to lodge route heads south toward Hedgehog Mountain. After the West Branch Ponds camp, skiers can choose the easier Pleasant River Trail or the intermediate East Side Trail to Little Lyford Lodge. From Little Lyford the intermediate Lodge to Lodge trail links to Gorman Chairback on Long Pond. For detailed trail maps with trail names, click here and here.
AMC's lodges feature private cabins and a bunkhouse as well as fresh-cooked breakfast and dinner. For more information about the lodges, visit AMC's website.
