From Little Lyford the intermediate Lodge to Lodge trail links to Gorman Chairback on Long Pond. For detailed trail maps with trail names, click here and here

Trailhead Information

Parking is available at Medawisla Lodge. At the traffic light in the center of Greenville, proceed north on Lily Bay Road for 19 paved miles to Kokadjo. In Kokadjo, cross the Roach River at the dam to First Roach Pond. Four Tenths of a mile after crossing the Roach River, bear left where the pavement ends. Proceed 1.6 miles and bear right at the sign for Medawisla Lodge. Continue on this road for approximately 6 miles to reach the lodge.

Parking is also available at the winter parking lot. From the blinking light at the center of Greenville proceed north on ME-15 for one block. Turn right onto Pleasant Street. After a mile the road's name changes to East Road. After 2 miles the road becomes gravel and its name changes again to the KI Road. Proceed for 8 miles to the Winter Parking Lot. The trails from the winter parking lot are described on the Hedgehog Gate Loop trail posting.
