The Snow Pond Community Trails provide over 2.3 miles of well-maintained trails that travel through a beautifully wooded wetland habitat. In the winter, the trails are groomed for cross-country skiing. A network of connected loops provide options of varying lengths for walkers, bikers, runners, snowshoers and skiers of all ages and abilities. The trails are ideal for bird watching and wildlife photography.
Snow Pond Center for the Arts holds periodic public events that include the trail system. Annual events like the Winter Carnival & Ice Fishing Derby and the Maine Pond Hockey Classic draw thousands, along with the concerts at The Bowl in the Pines amphitheater. Visit the Snow Pond website or Facebook page for details about upcoming events.
